Starting
off the day, Lova and I went to Hellasgården, a place where you can jump into
the ice cold lake. We carpooled with Liana and Tyra and met up there with a
couple of other friends and classmates and all did it together.
Before
lunch, we also went on a walk and it was really pretty because there was an
outdoor gym, which was fun to play on, and crisp snow on the ground, which was
also fun to walk in. We also went to a hill that was on an island in Sweden and
it showcased the city at a different perspective, and it was a spectacular view.
After
lunch, we met up again with more classmates and played laser tag at the Mall of
Scandinavia, and that was very fun, yet tiring and hot. Ending the day, we went
to go eat dinner at a family friend’s house, and it was very nice meeting her.
This
weekend I learned many new things, including that the buildings in Sweden are
all carefully planned out. Like the parking lots have all these lights that are
green and turn red when somebody takes the spot. I think this is extremely
smart since most parking lots in Hawaii don’t have this, so everybody ends up
going through every lane until they find a spot. There is a lot we can learn
from our friends in Sweden!
