Today is Saturday, March 24… a very fun and action packed day. We first started the day by waking up and eating Swedish sandwiches (Hard or soft bread with butter, cheese, and meat). After we were done with breakfast we raced over to my host family's little boy's ice hockey practice. It was very fun to see him on skates; they are very quick and skilled at the sport even though they are like 7 years old. All of them are better than me.
When we got home from hockey practice we went sledding, which was walking distance from host family's house. We walked through beautiful sceneries and when we got to the hill I was amazed because of how white and steep it was. We used “The Snow Racer” to go down the hill and at the end of the hill there was a big jump that I went off. After this, we walked home and all of the family went to go ice skating which was really fun and I was able to play with a hockey puck and stick.
After, we all rushed to Alex’s soccer or futbol game which he won 3-1! I learned that soccer is a very big sport here in Sweden, and ice hockey is also. To celebrate we went out for pizza and came home to relax and watch T.V. to end this amazing day.
P.S. I learned that Sweden keyboards are very different, I learned this the hard way!
